Blue Heron Inn, Hampton

Blue Heron Inn is the only 24-hour-staffed facility of its kind in New Hampshire. While not a treatment environment, it currently serves as a home for youth who cannot safely return to family and for whom foster care is no longer appropriate. Many of the BHI residents have co-occurring disorders and receive mental health care from a collaborative relationship with Seacoast Mental Health Center. Many also attend OdysseyNH Academy's Recovery High School. The Blue Heron provides a safe, supervised and predictable environment to support youth seeking to become responsible, productive adults while accessing supports and services from our community.
