No current openings. Blue Heron Inn, Hampton The Odyssey Blue Heron Inn is a supervised transitional/independent living-boarding house for older adolescents. These teens acquire skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed to be socially responsible and productive members of the community. Residential Youth Counselor: This position participates in planning therapeutic daily activities, participating and assisting residents in those activities. Participates in treatment planning and implementation as well as co-leads and participates in groups. Counsels and supervises residents in their living environment, and is responsible for the physical safety of residents at all times. Flexibility in schedule is a requirement, as this is a 24/7/365 program with one staff member on at all times. Valid drivers' license required as part of position is to transport residents to various appointments as needed. Adolescent Therapeutic Center (ATC), Hampton A residential treatment program for adolescents which is a highly structured therapeutic milieu, and emphasizes clinical services including: individual, group and family therapy; a certified (special education) school; a family/community reunification program tailored to resident and family needs; and an outdoor adventure based learning program. Respite/Relief Residential Youth Counselor (Primary Care Giver): This position is responsible for working with other staff supervising and counseling residents in a living environment (in a youth counselor role to cover vacations and absences for full time staff. 2 years of college in a related field, or a combination of varied experience shall be considered. Ability to pass a criminal background check and valid driver's license are required. This is a per diem position without benefits. OdysseyNH Family Center (OFC), Canterbury This is the only long-term residential treatment program in northern New England for substance abusing pregnant and postpartum women which includes their young children. In a modified therapeutic community, clients deliver healthy babies, replace substance-abusing behavior with skills necessary to live productive and drug-free lives, and develop healthy family relationships. This change often brings an end to a multi-generational cycle of chemical abuse and dependency. Part time Residential Support Worker (PCG): This position is responsible for supervising and counseling residents in a living environment, behavioral tracking and documentation and more. Also responsible for monitoring the environment, making rounds, verifying that residents are in assigned areas and maintaining the level of supervision that is required by the program. This position requires flexibility of scheduling. Two years of college in a related field required. A bachelor's degree preferred. Some part time, pro-rated benefits will apply. PACE, Rochester PACE is a short term residential diagnostic program for adolescents, providing Prescriptive Assessment through comprehensive Evaluations (PACE) to child protections agencies, juvenile justice services, schools, and private practitioners. A home-based family assessment is complimented by psychological, psychiatric, educational, and behavioral evaluations conducted on site. Findings from these evaluations are used to develop a coherent prescriptive recommendation. Educational services are provided on site during a residents stay. Clinical Coordinator: This professional is responsible for the supervision of up to 15 staff in relation to therapeutic aspects of the program, has administrative and on-call responsibilities, provides leadership and training to staff in supporting families with adolescents. A Masters degree in social work or related field is required. Residential Youth Counselor/Primary Care Giver: This position is responsible for supervising and counseling residents in a living environment (in a youth counselor role), co-leading and participating in groups, participating in planning and assisting residents with daily therapeutic activities, behavioral tracking and documentation and more. Primarily working the 3 – 11 shift, but flexibility to cover other shifts is required. A bachelor's degree and valid driver's license are required.
